Panoramica
Description
This spacious farmhouse of approximately 240 sqm is located just outside the village of Terricciola, also known as the “City of Wine” due to its renowned estates dedicated to producing the excellent wines of the Pisan Hills. The property is reached from the main road via a short gravel driveway that leads to the automatic gate. You are immediately struck by the main facade, built with exposed stone sourced from the Sterza river flowing in the valley below. The other sides of the farmhouse are plastered and painted in a beautiful, traditional Tuscan pink, creating a harmonious and pleasing aesthetic.
Ground Floor
The ground floor features multiple entrances, but entering through the main armored door, you find a large double living room on the right. The first section of this room is characterized by traditional terracotta vaulted ceilings (known as volterrane). From the living room, a French door opens out onto the courtyard. To the left is the large kitchen, which opens onto a covered patio complete with an outdoor oven—perfect for al fresco dining. Just beyond, there is a storage closet, a half-bath, a laundry room, and a garage accessible from both inside and outside.
First Floor
Comfortable stairs lead to the first floor, which boasts classic ceilings with exposed wooden beams and rafters. This floor accommodates:
-
A large master bedroom
-
A single bedroom (which could also serve as a walk-in closet)
-
A reading room
-
A third bedroom
Exterior and Features
The window frames have been recently replaced and feature double-glazed windows. The garden and courtyard wrap around all four sides of the property, and at the back, there is a small olive grove. The view from the front windows opens onto the beautifully rolling hills of the Valdera.
