Description
It is quite rare to find on this side of the Monti Pisani stone exposed farmhouses , as they have often been restored over the years plastering the exterior facades..it is perhaps easier to find them on the Lucchese monti Pisani side, for example in the Compitese area, where the trend is more preserving rather than changing.
Yet these rustic and somewhat chipped external walls make this farmhouse a special property, so typically..Tuscan! It is located in a slightly hilly position, just few minutes’ drive from the historic center of the Calci, then about 25 minutes from Pisa’s Galilei airport and 35 minutes from the coast and the sea, enjoying a favorable climate, both in summer and winter seasons.
The interior layout is extremely simple because each floor of the three available (for a total of 150 sqm), connected by an internal staircase, is occupied by two rooms: on the ground floor, accessible through two openings, is a room with fireplace and dining room with access to the bathroom. On the first floor are two rooms with nearby bathroom and finally two rooms with bathroom are located on the third floor, also accessible by an external staircase.
The presence of three entrances (each level is independent) and a bathroom on each floor allows to use the farmhouse also as a B&B and similar, or as a family home with 3/4 bedrooms. The land of approx. 3000 sqm with some olive trees is partly flat, ideal parking for several cars, giving excellent accessibility to the property. The building, while in good condition, needs cosmetic works and modernization and is still rural : it is flanked by a brick oven and is connected to the aqueduct and a LPG gas tank but access to methan gas is only a few meters away.
